Cathy’s entire career has been in public accounting including 10 years with an international accounting firm in their Private Client Advisory Services Practice. Her practice areas include high net worth individuals, executive groups, closely-held businesses, trusts, and estates. She is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds the designation of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) from the AICPA.
Cathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a former board member of BCA/Burlington City Arts and a former member of the Investment Committee of the United Way of Chittenden County.

Matt joined Danaher Attig & Plante PLC as a Partner in 2016 upon relocation back to his home state of Vermont. His fifteen plus years of experience in public accounting includes tax consulting and preparation services for high net worth individuals and businesses. In addition, Matt provides review and compilation services for closely-held businesses and other entities.
Matt’s accounting career began in Vermont with a small accounting firm, prior to moving to Washington, DC. In January 2004, he accepted a staff accountant position with Drolet & Associates, PLLC. He became a Partner with Drolet & Associates, PLLC on January 1, 2010, and continued as a Partner in the merged firm of Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, PC.
Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves on the Supervisory Committee of Opportunities Credit Union.

As a Partner at Danaher Attig & Plante PLC, Sara provides tax and advisory services to a diversified client base, including high net worth individuals, closely-held businesses, trusts, and estates. Sara works with clients in a variety of industries, including professional services, family-owned businesses, and commercial, residential and investment real estate.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Sara worked in Michigan for an international accounting firm before relocating to Vermont. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where she received her Master’s in Accounting with High Distinction.
Within the firm, colleagues recognize Sara for her ability to offer clients creative and strategic tax-planning opportunities. Her clients appreciate her personal attention, and that the solutions she offer demonstrate a clear interest in seeing them succeed in their goals.
Sara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. Sara has been a mentor as part of Big Brothers Big Sisters Vermont since 2018.
